Even though I watch and listen to the news every day, I was not aware of the increasing terrorism attacks taking place in Israel over the last two weeks. A speaker at a political meeting I attended this weekend pointed this out to us and, in typical Temerity fashion, I started doing my own research. The statements listed above are only a small part of what I discovered.

According to Palestinians interviewed by journalists, they are killing Jews simply because they are Jews. “No reason,” stated one Palestinian when asked why the attacks had increased.

Although these are considered to be acts of terrorism, it is my opinion that it is much more. I believe that the Palestinians have declared war on Israel. The seminal date to know is September 16, 2015. While we did not hear of this on the evening news, Mahmoud Abbas declared jihad on the Jews. This was before he addressed the UN later in the month.

While in Ramallah, Abbas stated, “There will be no Palestinian state without Jerusalem. We are in Jerusalem and we will stay in it to defend our Islamic and Christian holy sites. We’re not going to leave our country.” Abbas praised Muslim male and female worshipers whose job is to harass Jewish visitors to the Temple Mount. “Each drop of blood that was spilled in Jerusalem is pure blood as long as it’s for the sake of Allah. Every shahid (martyr) will be in heaven and every wounded person will be rewarded, by Allah’s will.”

Why does this matter? Because the goal Palestinians and Islamists have is to first eliminate “The Little Satan” (Israel), and then “The Great Satan” (United States). It appears they have made a pretty good start.

Meanwhile, a publicity blackout has kept most people in the dark. One wonders why the media would not be reporting the violent deaths of so many Jews in their homeland. But then again, maybe we don’t need to wonder when we know who controls the media outlets.
